International Pianists’ Summer School 3rd – 6th of AUGUST 2017 in EIVERE MANOR AND PAIDE MUSIC SCHOOL!

TUTORS-LECTURORS:

Irina Zahharenkova (Estonia/Finland) and Marko Martin (Estonia).

For active participants, we enable to get individual learning in the context of the festival from 3rd to 5th of August in the time frame between 12.00 PM – 5 PM
3*45 min under the guidance of both teachers, observation of all other participants’ lessons and a performance on 6th of August at the V Eivere Piano Festival Summer School finale concert at 12 PM. In addition, the participants have a free entrance with their parents to the evening concerts of the festival from 3rd to 6th of August.

Expected to participate are the students of the older classes of music schools, Tallinn Music High school, Georg Ots Music School and Heino Eller Tartu Music School, university students of EAMT and pianists who have obtained academic higher education without an age limit.

Course fee for active participants:

–          3 days without accommodation 75 euros (including lunch for three days)

–          3 days with accommodation 120 euros (including catering)

The accommodation takes place in the guest house of Eivere manor.

The listening of the lessons is open to all who are interested for FREE!

Irina Zahharenkova

is one of the most outstanding and unique pianists of her generation. She started piano studies at the age of four with her mother and continued at Tallinn Georg Ots Music School and Estonian Academy of Music and Theater’s master’s level (EAMT), where she finished her master’s studies in 2003. She continued her studies in EAMT’s doctorate level between 2003-2011 and defended her master’s degree at Helsinki Sibelius Academy in 2010 (prof. H-Y. Liu Tawaststjerna). Irina has taken part of the master courses of several distinguished musicians and performed at international festivals in Italy, Germany, Finland, Norway and Estonia. She has also been invited to perform as a soloist in front of several orchestras. I. Zahharenkova is continuously performing at chamber concerts either with piano or harpsichord solo pieces. Two CD-s have been released: in 2010 and in 2012 with Classical Records and a DVD in a 2009 release by Estonian Records Production. Irina has an extensive repertory which comprises of pieces from baroque to contemporary music. At this time, I. Zahharenkova lives and teaches in Finland and she is a lecturer in EAMT. In addition, Irina has learned the organ, chemistry and Estonian-Finnish philology.

Marko Martin

is one of the most distinguished Estonian pianists of his generation. M. Martin has learned the piano in Tallinn Music High School, Estonian Academy of Music and Theater and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has been rewarded with many prizes and awards, taken part of multiple master classes, he has been a soloist in front of many orchestras and given concerts in Estonia, Latvia, Scandinavia, Germany, France, Italy and United Kingdom. His pianism is characterized by the captivating harmony of energy and lyricism, especially in the creation of Liszt, Brahms and Schubert. He is also recognized as a performer of 20th century music. He has released two CD-s featuring musical compositions of Schubert and Liszt and a CD featuring Eduard Tubin’s violin music with the violinist Sigrid Kuulmann-Martin. From 2002, he is working as a professor in EAMT. He is a grantee of the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians (AEPM) and PLMF Music Trust.
