Music Trust PLMF and NGO Rapla Church Music Festival invite you to:
VI RAPLAMAA YOUNG MUSICIAN COMPETITION
April 10, 2026 at Rapla Cultural Centre
The competition is open to students of Raplamaa music schools with the aim of recognizing young musical talents of Raplamaa and their teachers. The broader goal is to promote classical music education in Raplamaa. The competition is held in three age groups.
COMPETITION PROGRAMME
Programme length:
Junior age group (7–9 years) – 2–3 minutes
Middle age group (10–12 years) – 3–5 minutes
Senior age group (13 years and older) – 6–8 minutes
At the final concert, one piece from the competition programme will be performed.

PRIZES
Three prize-winning places will be awarded in each age group.
JUNIOR AGE GROUP
1st Prize – 100 euros
2nd Prize – 75 euros
3rd Prize – 50 euros
MIDDLE AGE GROUP
1st Prize – 125 euros
2nd Prize – 100 euros
3rd Prize – 75 euros
SENIOR AGE GROUP
1st Prize – 150 euros
2nd Prize – 125 euros
3rd Prize – 100 euros
GRAND PRIX – 200 euros
The Grand Prix across all age groups will be announced at the opening concert of the Rapla Church Music Festival on July 27 at 7 PM at the Rapla Church.

NB! The schedule may be subject to change depending on the length of the competition programmes. The final schedule will be confirmed by March 30.
12 AM – Opening and Junior Age Group Competition
12:30 AM – Jury deliberation / Middle Age Group stage rehearsal
12:45 AM – Jury concert and Junior Age Group award ceremony
(Junior winners are kindly requested to perform at 15:00)
1:15 PM – Middle Age Group Competition
2 PM – Jury deliberation / Senior Age Group stage rehearsal
2:15 PM – Senior Age Group Competition
3 PM – Announcement of winners, award ceremony and winners’ concert of all age groups
