KRISTEL P<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00c4<\/span><\/span><\/strong>RTNA<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0received her Master\u2019s Degree from Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2011. In 2009\u20132010 she studied at Sibelius Academy with Anssi Hirvonen within the Erasmus program. She was the grantee of Mati Palm Foundation in 2010 and the grantee of the NO Opera Academy in 2010\u20132012. In 2012 Kristel studied at Accademia del Belcanto \u201cRodolfo Celletti\u201d within the PLMF Young Talents Program. She is the soloist of the Estonian National Opera since the autumn of the same year. Her repertoire includes Verdi\u2019s Violetta (\u201cLa traviata\u201d), Gilda (\u201cRigoletto\u201d) and Oscar (\u201cUn ballo in maschera\u201d), Adina (Donizetti\u2019s \u201cL\u2019elisir d\u2019amore\u201d), H\u00e4ndel\u2019s Cleopatra (\u201cJulius Caesar\u201d) and Armida (\u201cRinaldo\u201d), Merc\u00e9des (Bizet\u2019s \u201cCarmen\u201d), Mozart\u2019s Arminda (\u201cLa finta giardiniera\u201d), Leonora (Hindemith\u2019s \u201cThe Long Christmas Dinner\u201d), Mademoiselle Silberklang (\u201cDer Schauspieldirektor\u201d) and the First boy (\u201cDie Zauberfl\u00f6te\u201d), Wagner\u2019s 1st Flower Maiden (\u201cParsifal\u201d), Mari\u2019s voice (A. Hirv\u2019s \u201cFire Enchanter\u201d), Clotilde (Bellini\u2019s \u201cNorma\u201d), Euridice (Rossi\/Terranova \u201cL\u2019Orfeo. Immagini di una lontananza\u201d). AULE URB<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>began vocal studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in the class of Prof. Jaakko Ryh\u00e4nen, where she obtained master\u2019s degree cum laude under the guidance of Eva Wilson-M\u00e4rtson (2017). She has furthered her skills as an exchange student at the Sibelius Academy and attended the \u201cRodolfo Celletti\u201d Belcanto Academy as well as the Opera Festival in Martina Franca, Italy. A. Urb has won awards at a number of competitions, including the Klaudia Taev Competition for Opera Singers (semi-finalist), the PLMF National Vocalists\u2019 Competition dedicated to Vello J\u00fcrna (3rd Prize), the Mart Saar Vocal Competition (2nd Prize) and the EAMT Lied-duo Competition, together with Mariin Gill (1st Prize). In 2017, she was a scholar of the Estonian Richard Wagner Society. A. Urb has been working as a choir artist and soloist of the Estonian National Opera since 2015. Her roles include Maria (Puur \u201cColours of the Clouds\u201d), Dunyasha (Rimsky-Korsakov \u201cThe Tsar\u2019s Bride\u201d), Annina (Verdi \u201cLa Traviata\u201d), Gertrude (Gounod “Romeo and Juliet\u201d) and Alice the Fox (Ehala \u201cBuratino\u201d). A. Urb is the creator of the idea of Metsikud Mezzod (Wild Mezzos) and one of the founders of the Opera Veto Opera Studio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ATLAN KARP\u00a0<\/strong>
\nis one of his generations most outstanding opera soloists of Estonia. He has studied in Georg Ots Tallinn Music School (prof. T\u00f5nu Bachmann), Estonian Academy of Music and Theater (prof. Ivo Kuusk) and obtained his Master\u2019s degree at the Sibelius Academy in Finland (prof. Jorma Hynninen and Pekka K\u00e4hk\u00f6nen). He has furthered his skills in the Maria Theatre of St. Petersburg and participated in the masterclasses of G. Janowitz, T. Krause, L. Gergijeva, D. Hvorostovsky, J. Obrastsova, A. Amaretto and H. Hageg\u00e5rd. During 2007-2012 he was working in Vanemuine Theater as a leading soloist. A. Karp has been rewarded with the I prize in Tiit Kuusik International Competition (2000). His most important roles include: Jago (Verdi \u201cOthello\u201d), Scarpia (Puccini \u201cTosca\u201d), Rigoletto (Verdi \u201cRigoletto\u201d), Count di Luna (Verdi \u201cIl trovatore\u201d), Lescaut (Massenet \u201cManon\u201d), Sharpless (Puccini \u201cMadame Butterfly\u201d), Figaro (Mozart \u201cLe nozze di Figaro\u201d), Kurwenal (Wagner \u201cTristan und Isolde\u201d), Leandro (Prokofiev \u201cLove for three oranges\u201d, NO Estonia), Vodnik (Dvo\u0159\u00e1k \u201cRusalka\u201d, Helsinki Alexander Theater), Don Alfonso (Mozart \u201cCosi fan tutte\u201d, Savonlinna Music Academy), Onegin (Tchaikovsky \u201cJevgeni Onegin\u201d, Sibelius Academy), Klingsor (Wagner \u201cParsifal\u201d), Orestes (Strauss \u201cElektra\u201d), George III (Davies \u201cEight Songs for a Mad King\u201d, P\u00e4rnu Opera) etc. His repertoire of grand pieces is very versatile (Brahms \u201cEin Deutsches Requiem\u201d, Beethoven Symphony No. 9, Rachmaninoff \u201cThe Bells\u201d, Vaughan Williams \u201cA Sea Symphony\u201d, Rossini \u201cPetite Messe Solennelle\u201d A. Kallastu \u201cCromwell\u2019s letzte nacht\u201d etc.). A. Karp has given numerous solo concerts and he has performed songs by Russian, French, German, Finnish and Estonian composers from classical pieces to contemporary ones.<\/div>\n

TIINA K\u00c4RBLANE\u00a0<\/strong>
\nhas studied at Tallinn Music High School and graduated from the Tallinn State Conservatory in the piano class of Prof. Bruno Lukk in 1985. She continued her studies in Leningrad Conservatory in the chamber music department under the guidance of Prof. Tamara Fidler. Her first job was at the Tallinn National Conservatory as an accompanist in the string department. At the same time, there were several concert tours across the former Soviet Union, in the service of Soyuz Concert (with the soloist violin player J\u00fcri Gerretz). In 1991, the teaching job continued at the Kuopio Conservatory and at the Sibelius-Academy. Tiina has had several successful performances at national string competitions in Estonia and Finland as well as at international competitions (Riga, 1984; Geneva, 1990; as a competitor A. Leibur). From 2000-2014 Tiina K\u00e4rblane was at the service of Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK), teaching accompanying and correpetition. From 2003-2013 she worked as a correpetitor at the Tampere Opera. That job brought her together with a number of Finnish and European distinguished singers, directors and conductors. Tiina started to teach at opera studio in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in autumn 2013.<\/div>\n
