V RAPLAMAA YOUNG MUSICIAN COMPETITION<\/strong><\/span>
\n2nd of April 2025 at the Rapla Cultural Center<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The competition is open to students of music schools in Raplamaa with the aim of recognizing young musical talents in Raplamaa and their teachers. A broader goal is to promote classical music education in Raplamaa. The competition takes place in three age groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students from the following schools will be participating in the competition:<\/span><\/p>\n

Rapla Music School
\n<\/strong>9-year-old Adeele S\u00e4ra Toots<\/strong> (violin), 7-year-old Lukas L\u00e4\u00e4tsim<\/strong> (saxophone),
\n9-year-old Gretel Vesinurm<\/strong> (flute), 11-year-old Johan Lepiste<\/strong> (saxophone),
\n10-year-old Artur Gerassimov<\/strong> (clarinet), 10-year-old Marii Kaselt<\/strong> (piano), 16-year-old Rednar Moks<\/strong> (saxophone),
\n13-year-old \u00d5nneliis Lumiste<\/strong> (flute) and 17-year-old Hanna Luukas<\/strong> (violin);<\/span><\/p>\n

Kehtna Art School
\n<\/strong>9-year-old Emil Johannes V\u00e4lja<\/strong> (tuba);<\/span><\/p>\n

Kohila Art School
\n<\/strong>11-year-old Thom Kivioja<\/strong> (alt), 10-year-old Miikael N\u00f5lvak<\/strong> (trumpet),
\n11-year-old Mia Sofia Aavasalu<\/strong> (French horn), 13-year-old Anna Vahi<\/strong> (flute), 18-year-old Maarja Vahi<\/strong> (flute),
\n14-year-old Minna Mikson<\/strong> (violin) and 10-year-old Mirell Peedu<\/strong> (violin);<\/span><\/p>\n

M\u00e4rjamaa Music and Art School
\n<\/strong>9-year-old Avigeja Azalea \u017dilina<\/strong> (saxophone), 16-year-old Sten Marti Merjel<\/strong> (clarinet),
\n14-year-old Mariliis Ruus<\/strong> (piano), 15-year-old Merilin Kaldma<\/strong> (piano),
\n15-year-old Mia Laube<\/strong> (piano) and 12-year-old Liisa Laube<\/strong> (clarinet).<\/span><\/p>\n

PROGRAM TO BE PERFORMED AT THE COMPETITION
\n<\/strong>The program length for the younger age group (7\u20139 years old) is 2\u20133 minutes,<\/span>
\nfor the middle age group (10\u201312 years old) 3\u20135 minutes,<\/span>
\nand for the older age group (13 years and older) 6\u20138 minutes.<\/span>
\nOne piece from the competition program will be performed at the final concert.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe Grand Prix will be announced at the opening concert of the Rapla Church Music Festival on
\nJuly 10 at 7 pm at the Rapla Church.<\/span><\/p>\n
