At the age of sixteen\, he won the 1st prize at the “Young Talents” competition and went to France a few weeks after that\, continuing his studies under the guidance of V. Marin-Queyras at the Regional Conservatoire in Paris\, which he graduated in 2003 with an award-winning diploma. During the same period\, he took master classes from recognized musicians which included the Alban Berg Quartet\, Philippe Muller\, Enrico Dindo\, Tilmann Wick\, Miklos Perenyi\, Mario Brunello. In 2004 he was accepted into the class of Anne Gastinel at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon\, where he finished with a master’s degree and a first prize in cello and chamber music. He was a member of the world’s best youth orchestras\, such as Pacific Symphony Orchestra\, Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra\, Lucerne Festival Orchestra Jugend\, as principal cello in 2007 and 2009\, playing with conductors like Valery Gergiev\, Pierre Boulez\, Herbert Blomstedt\, Esa-Pekka Salonen\, Sir Neville Marriner etc. As a chamber musician V. Xhafaj has performed in such concert halls as Ircam (Paris)\, Philarmonie (Koln)\, KKL (Luzern)\, Salle Molière (Lyon)\, Cité de la Musique (Paris)\, Palais des Congres (Strasbourg)\, Concertgebouw (Amsterdam)\, Suntory Hall (Tokyo)\, Teatro Coliseo (Buenos Aires)\, Teatro Bradesco (Sao Paulo) etc. His chamber music partners include Tedi Papavrami\, Boris Brovtsyn\, Francois-Frederic Guy\, Ilya Gringolts\, Akiko Suwanai\, Nikita Boriso Glebsky\, Alexander Kobrin etc. V. Xhafaj plays regularly with such groups as the Ensemble Intercontemporain\, the Chamber Orchestra of the Auvergne\, the Orchestra of the Opéra de Lyon and the Orchestra of the Suisse Romande\, Royal Philarmonic Orchestra\, Orchestre Philarmonique de Strasbourg. He is supported by the Societe Generale Patronage Musical. \nIRINA ZAHHARENKOVA\nbegan her musical studies with her mother at the age of four. She graduated from the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (Master of Music\, 2003)\, where her piano teachers were Prof. Mare Ots and Lilian Semper. She entered the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki as an exchange student in 2002 and then as a degree student in 2003\, studying in the piano class of Dr. Hui-Ying Liu- Tawaststjerna. Irina has also participated in the master classes of András Schiff\, Victor Merzhanov\, Stephen Kovacevich and Angela Hewitt. In addition to the piano she has pursued advanced courses in harpsichord (degree from EAMT\, Prof. Maris Valk-Falk)\, organ\, chemistry\, as well as Estonian and Finnish philology. Irina has won first prizes in many major international piano competitions such as the Johann Sebastian Bach Competition (Leipzig\, 2006)\, Alessandro Casagrande Competition (Italy\, 2006) and Georges Enescu Competition (Romania\, 2005). Irina Zahharenkova has also been a laureate as a harpsichordist in the Prague Spring Competition in the Czech Republic (2005) and in the Festival van Vlaanderen competition\n in Belgium (2004) as a fortepianist. An extremely versatile musician\, Irina frequently performs on the piano and harpsichord in solo recitals\, chamber music concerts and as a soloist with orchestras.

Over the years Anna-Liisa Bezrodny has performed as a soloist with the London\, Helsinki\, Vilnius\, Jena and Turku Philharmonic\, Estonian National\, Riga and Moscow Symphony Orchestra TV6 and several other symphonic orchestras as well as Gewandhaus Bach Orchestra\, Georgian\, Keskipohjanmaa (Finnish)\, Zurich\, Madrid\, Tallinn and other chamber orchestras. Concerts have taken place in such world-famous concert venues as Moscow Conservatoire Great Hall\, St. Petersburg Philharmonic\, Finlandia-talo\, Royal Festival\, Barbican\, Wigmore and Cadogan Hall\, Konzerthaus Berlin\, Cologne Philharmonie etc. Cooperation has been done with several conductors (Sir Colin Davis\, Leif Segerstam\, Paavo Järvi\, Sian Edwards\, Eri Klas\, Nikolay Alekseyev\, Arvo Volmer\, Juha Kangas\, Paul Mägi\, Tibor Boganyi\, Robin O’Neil\, Mihkel Kütson\, etc.). A.-L. Bezrodny has successfully taken part in many international competitions obtaining several awards and prizes including Martin Music \nFinnish cellist Jan-Erik Gustafsson is one of the most outstanding musicians of his generation\, who began his studies with Markku Luolajan-Mikkola at the West Helsinki Music Institute. He studied further with Mikhail Homitser and Frans Helmerson at the Edberg-Musikinstitut in Stockholm\, completing his soloist diploma examination in 1992. At the age of fifteen\, J-E. Gustafsson placed well in the EBU Young Musician competition in Copenhagen\, and since then he has performed world wide both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. He has appeared with numerous distinguished orchestras such as the London SO\, the Bournemouth SO\, the Netherlands RSO\, the Danish RSO\, the Swedish RSO and the Stockholm Philharmonic\, the Hong Kong Philharmonic\, the Jerusalem SO\, the Washington National SO\, the New York and Vienna Chamber Orchestras\, Camerata Bern and the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra. He has appeared with nearly all Finnish orchestras. In 1994\, Jan-Erik Gustafsson signed a contract with the American YCA agency. Consequently\, he regularly gives solo recitals on tour in the USA\, Europe and the Far East at venues such as Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall in New York\, the Kennedy Center in Washington\, Suntory Hall in Tokyo and the Brahms Hall in Vienna. At chamber music festivals worldwide\, he has collaborated with Pinchas Zukerman\, Ralf Gothóni\, Leif-Ove Andsnes\, Paavali Jumppanen and Arto Satukangas. Jan-Erik Gustafsson has made several recordings for Ondine. His disc featuring Cello Sonatas by Szymanowski\, Kodály and Schnittke was nominated Record of the Year. Jan-Erik Gustafsson is the director of Loviisa Sibelius Festival and teaches as well at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki\, Finland.

She has been the first one to perform such pieces in Estonia as Lutoslawski Partita\, Berio Sequenza VIII\, Virkhaus Violin Concerto No. 2\, Bizet-Waxman “Carmen-Fantasia” etc. Her repertoire includes most of the major violin concerts\, sonatas and virtuoso pieces from baroque to contemporary. S. Kuulmann-Martin has recorded for the Estonian Public Broadcasting (EPB) several times\, including Sibelius Violin Concert with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra. In cooperation with EPB and Estonian Record Productions many CD-s have been released\, the last one in 2012 featuring Eduard Tubin’s violin music with pianist Marko Martin. S. Kuulmann-Martin is a scholar of The Association of Estonian Professional Musicians\, Cultural Endowment of Estonia and PLMF since 2007. She is a PhD student of musical interpretation at EAMT (2014\, Prof. Mari Tampere-Bezrodny) and she is also working there as a professor. \nANDREAS LEND\nis one of his generations most distinguished cellists in Estonia. He started his music studies in Tallinn Music High School\, aquired a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Estonian Academy of Music and Theater and furthered his skills in Finland Sibelius Academy. In addition\, he has taken part of many internationally acknowledged cellist’s master classes (F. Helmerson\, D. Geringas\, M. Ostertag etc.). A. Lend has gotten awards at many competitions\, including I Prize and Grand Prix at the International Competition-Festival “Renaissance” (Armenia\, 2013)\, I Prize at the ESTA Estonian nationwide Violinists’ and Cellists’ Competition (2004) etc. In 2007 A. Lend was chosen to be a part of the European Union Youth Orchestra which he has performed with across Europe. As a soloist and an ensemble partner he has performed in numerous foreign countries including Denmark\, Germany\, Italy etc. and he has been invited to Tallinn Chamber Music Festival\, Kuopio Historical Keyboards Festival in Finland\, Valle d’Itria Festival in Italy etc. During the last few years he cooperated with many string quartets and orchestras and at the moment he is active in National Opera Estonia Symphony Orchestra\, string quartet Prezioso and Estonian Cello Ensemble and he is also active as a chamber musician in several other compositions. \nRALF TAAL\non oma põlvkonna üks tunnustatumaid pianiste. Ta on lõpetanud Tallinna Muusikakeskkooli ning Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia. Ta on edukalt osa võtnud mitmest konkursist pälvides muuhulgas 1993. aastal Edvard Griegi 150. sünniaastapäevale pühendatud noorte pianistide konkursil  esikoha ning Schuberti nim. rahvusvahelisel pianistide konkursil 1995. aastal noorima finalisti eripreemia. R. Taal on olnud solistiks pea kõigi Eesti orkestrite ees  tehes koostööd selliste väljapaistvate dirigentidega nagu Eri Klas\, Paavo Järvi\, Anu Tali jpt. ning andnud arvukalt soolokontserte. Samuti on ta hinnatud ansamblipartner paljudele vokaal- ja instrumentaalsolistidele\, muuhulgas Helen Lokuta\, Oksana Sinkova\, Pille Lill\, Mati Palm jt. R. Taal töötab pedagoogina EMTA-s ja Georg Otsa nim. His studies continued at the Tallinn Music High School (teacher Aivi Tilk) from 2012 to 2015 and from autumn of 2015 in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (teacher Tiina Välja). H. Zibo has been rewarded with III place (2008\, 2010) and I place (2012) in the North-West Estonia region accordionist competition; I place in the VII and VIII republican young accordionist competition; II place in a TV contest „Classic Stars 2014“ and II place in a contest „Naujene 2016“ which took place in Latvia\, Daugavpils. He has done solo performances with Tallinn Chamber Orchestra\, The Orchestra of the Estonian Defence Forces and Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and taken master courses from different accordion masters (Mika Väyrynen\, Matti Rantanen\, Geir Draugsvoll\, Mikko Luoma\, Claudia Buder and Andreas Borregaard). H. Zibo has cooperated with many Estonian musicians and composers: Mihkel Poll\, Meelis Vind\, Johan Randvere\, Marcel Johannes and Katariina Maria Kits\, Marten Kuningas\, Marek Sadam\, Artjom Savitski\, Tauno Aints and maestro Arvo Pärt. \n\nMIKK LANGEPROON\nbegun his accordion studies at 8 years old at the Tallinn Music School and graduated with honors from the G. Ots Tallinn Music School (teacher Tiina Välja)\, where he was rewarded with G. Ots School’s silver badge. At the same time\, he graduated from Kadriorg German High School with a golden medal. From the autumn of 2014 he has been furthering his skills at the Helsinki Sibelius Academy (Prof. Matti Rantanen). M. Langeproon has repeatedly been awarded at the competition “Best Young Musician”\, he is the winner of the older age group of Estonian Young Accordionists’ Competition (2014) and he has obtained 2nd place at the International Vilnius Accordion Competition. He has been chosen as the best instrumentalist of Tallinn Music School (2011) and as the most outstanding student of the accordion department of G. Ots Tallinn Music School three years in a row. In 2013 he was awarded with the Maxima Future Talent title in the music\, arts and culture category. A special prize of the Round Table Competition in 2014 and a successful performance in the TV contest “Classic Stars 2016” are also worth mentioning. M. Langeproon is active as a soloist as well as a chamber musician and he has performed in several reputed concert halls in Estonia and abroad\, in Classic Radio’s live broadcasting and on Estonian Television. \n

She complemented her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg (2004 – 2005) and at the Doctoral level of EAMT (2006-2011). O. Sinkova has participated in several masterclasses of well-known flutists (M. Helin\, M. Järvi\, P. Gallois\, R. Greiss-Armin etc.). She is working as a guest concert master of the Narva Symphony Orchestra flute group since 1999 and she has been the concert master of Vanemuine Theatre’s flute group (2000-2008) and a member of the National Opera Estonia Symphony Orchestra’s flute group (2008-2011). O. Sinkova has won several international and national competitions like Grand Prix at the Estonian Music School’s Competition (1997)\, EAMT and Sibelius Academy J. S. Bach Competition (1998)\, first prize at the Yamaha Competition (1999)\, at the National Bach Competition (2000) and she has also been a finalist at the Con Brio 2000 and International Andrejs Jurjāns Competition (Riga\, 2001) as well as a laureate of the International Competition Pacem in Terris (Bayreuth\, 2005) etc. She has been awarded the PLMF award “Young Musician 2008”. O. Sinkova has numerously performed at solo concerts and as a soloist in front of several orchestras in Estonia and abroad\, with the Swedish string orchestra Camerata Nordica she has been a part of concert tours in Italy\, Sweden and Wales. She has been invited to perform at festivals in Italy\, Slovakia and Czech and she has given performances at several festivals in Estonia. Her solo repertoire includes virtuous flute music from world’s music treasury. O. Sinkova is working as a professor at EAMT from 2008.  \nMADIS KARI\nis one of his generation’s most distinguished clarinettists\, who has studied at Georg Ots School of Music and Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. He has furthered his knowledge in London\, where during his studies at the Royal College of Music he won the Frederick Thurston annual clarinettist award (1997) and the Senior Exhibitioner scholarship. In cooperation with the pianist Marko Martin they won the III Prize at the UK Howarth Young Clarinettist Competition (1998). M. Kari has worked in Richmond Chamber Symphony Orchestra as a concert master of the clarinet group and as a piano teacher in different schools in London and its vicinity. From 2002\, he is working in the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra as an assistant concert master of the clarinet group and he is teaching in Tallinn Music High School. M. Kari is constantly giving concerts all over Estonia and he is an expected performer at the Tallinn Chamber Music Festival and Tallinn Winter Festival. He has represented Estonia in the World Philharmonic Orchestra in Paris and he is taking part of Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and Nyyd Ensemble projects. M. Kari is a PLMF Music Trust scholar. \nNEEME OTS\n began his studies at the age of six under the guidance of his father\, dots. Aavo Ots and he has defended a bachelor’s degree at the Helsinki Sibelius Academy (2011). The studies continued at the same place at the masters’ level\, where he furthered his skills in the context of an Erasmus program during 2013 in Madrid. N. Ots has taken part of the master courses of several distinguished trumpet pedagogues and he has been awarded with several prizes at competitions in Estonia and abroad. Chamber concerts have brought him together with such reputed interprets as M. Voites\, M. Palm\, A. Teemets\, I. Zahharenkova etc. N. Ots has been a soloist in front of several well-known orchestras\, he has been invited to perform as a soloist at several festivals and he has cooperated with such outstanding conductors as J.-P. Saraste\, K. Järvi\, L. Segerstam\, M. Lehtinen etc. He has been a concert master of the trumpet group in several different youth orchestras with which he has performed in Estonia and abroad. In 2015\, his first CD “Baroque Pictures” was released in cooperation with the organ player Tiia Tenno.     \nMARKO MARTIN\n is one of the most distinguished Estonian pianists of his generation. M. Martin has learned the piano in Tallinn Music High School\, Estonian Academy of Music and Theater and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has been rewarded with many prizes and awards\, taken part of multiple master classes\, he has been a soloist in front of many orchestras and given concerts in Estonia\, Latvia\, Scandinavia\, Germany\, France\, Italy and United Kingdom. His pianism is characterized by the captivating harmony of energy and lyricism\, especially in the creation of Liszt\, Brahms and Schubert. He is also recognized as a performer of 20th century music. He has released two CD-s featuring musical compositions of Schubert and Liszt and a CD featuring Eduard Tubin’s violin music with the violinist Sigrid Kuulmann-Martin. Dr. Sofia Mazar is one of the leading figures in the field of Italian and Russian Opera in Israel. She is an assistant professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem\, where she was granted the Europe Forum’s award for researching Italian Opera of Ottocento. She has furthered her skills in the master classes of Ingrid Kremling\, Elizabeth Wilke and Yandwiga Rappé in Poland. O. Zaitseva has won the I prize in the St. Petersburg contest “Song has the face of a woman” (2008)\, special prize in the III and VII international contest “Opera\, the Soul of Mountains” in Poland (2008 and 2012)\, two special prizes in the 2nd PLMF National Vocal Contest dedicated to Vello Jürna (2012). In 2015 O. Zaitseva was given a Crystal Shoe Award from the Estonian Theatre Union for being a “young person in theatre who has accomplished first significant theatrical works” for the performances of Almirena (Händel “Rinaldo”) and Giannetta (Donizetti “L’elisir d’amore”) both in Estonian National Opera. Her repertoire of opera roles includes Almirena\, Donna\, Mermaid (Händel „Rinaldo“)\, Giannetta (Donizetti „L’elisir d’amore“)\, II flower girl (Wagner „Parsifal“)\, shepherd girl (Ravel „The Child and the Spells“)\, Tebaldo (Verdi „Don Carlo“)\, Frasquita (Bizet „Carmen“)\, Sacerdotessa (Verdi „Aida“)\, Barbarina (Mozart „Le nozze di Figaro“). During a concert performance she has sung the role of Kupava (Rimsky-Korsakov „The Snow Maiden“) and the soprano part of Fauré’s Requiem. \nOLIVER KUUSIK \nstarted his studies in singing at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with Associate Prof. Pille Lill and Prof. Virgilijus Noreika and has graduated from master’s level and opera studio of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London (Prof. Rudolf Piernay). He was working as a soloist of the Estonian National Opera between 2008-2017. From the most important roles his repertoire includes Faust (Gounod Faust)\, Nemorino (Donizetti The Elixir of Love\, Liverpool\, UK)\, Don Ramiro (Rossini La Cenerentola)\, Sesto (Händel Julius Caesar)\, Fenton (Verdi Falstaff) etc. He has recorded Fleishman’s Rothschild’s Violin together with the Liverpool Royal Symphony Orchestra and sung Enjolras in Schönberg’s/Boublil’s musical Les Miserables. As a valued oratorio and chamber music singer O. Kuusik has performed in over 25 different oratorios and given concerts in Estonia as well as several foreign countries. In 2010 O. Kuusik was rewarded with the annual “Crystal Shoe” Award of the Estonian Theatre Union\, in 2009 he was chosen as a laureate of Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques (Montreal\, Canada). In 2008 he received the annual Estonian Theatre Award for his singing in Britten’s opera Turn of the Screw and he has been awarded with SEB Bank’s audience award “Soloist of the Year 2001”. O. Kuusik has won the 3rd Prize at the 5th Klaudia Taev International Competition for Young Opera Singers (2007) and the Kremling’s Special Prize for the best interpretation of German Song. He has also won the 1st Prize at the Hendrik Krumm Competition in 2006\, the 1st Prize at the Estonian singing competition Young Singer (2002) and the PLMF award “Young Musician 2005”. Several praising reviews have been published about him in worlds most notable publications such as Opera Now\, Opera Magazine\, The Stage\, The London Times etc. \nAARE SAAL \nhas graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre as an opera singer\, teachers prof.-s Ivo Kuusk\, Virgilius Noreika and Jaakko Ryhänen. In 1990 he participated in the master class of Gino Bechi and in 1997–2000 he attended the master classes of Rolando Panerai in Italy. A. Saal won the 1st prize at the international competition “Voices of Rossini and Donizetti” (1996\, Italy). In 1997 he won the prestigious Georg Ots Prize in Estonia. A. Saal made his opera debut in 1989 at the Estonian National Opera with the lead-role in Mozart’s opera “Le nozze di Figaro”. His repertoire includes more than 40 opera and operetta roles in the productions of the Estonian National Opera\, Theatre Vanemuine and in productions abroad. The most important roles include the title roles in Verdi’s “Nabucco”\, Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”\, Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin”\, Verdi’s “Rigoletto”; Figaro (Rossini “The Barber of Seville”)\, Escamillo (Bizet “Carmen”)\, Belcore (Donizetti “L’elisir d’amore”); Verdi’s Don Carlo (“Ernani”)\, Rodrigo (“Don Carlo”)\, Renato (“Un ballo in maschera”) and Amonasro (“Aida”); Yeletsky (Tchaikovsky “The Queen of Spades”)\, Valentin (Gounod “Faust”)\, Count Almaviva (Mozart “Le nozze di Figaro”)\, Dandini (Rossini “La Cenerentola”)\, Marcello (Puccini “La Bohème”)\, Edwin (Kálmán “Die Csárdásfürstin”)\, Achillas (Handel “Julius Caesar”)\, the Third Guest and the U.S. soldier (Tüür “Wallenberg”)\, Severo (Donizetti “Poliuto”) etc. A. Saal has sung at the Latvian National Opera\, Lithuanian Opera and Ballet Theatre\, Florence City Theatre\, Dramatiska Ensemble in Stockholm and Malmö Opera and Music Theatre. In addition to opera roles his repertoire also includes solo recitals of Estonian\, Russian and Italian music. \nTIINA KÄRBLANE \nhas studied at Tallinn Music High School and graduated from the Tallinn State Conservatory in the piano class of Prof. Bruno Lukk. She continued her studies in Leningrad Conservatory in the chamber music department under the guidance of Prof. Tamara Fidler. Her first job was at the Tallinn National Conservatory as an accompanist in the string department. At the same time\, there were several concert tours across the former Soviet Union\, in the service of Soyuz Concert (with the soloist violin player Jüri Gerretz). In 1991\, the teaching job continued at the Kuopio Conservatory and at the Sibelius Academy. T. Kärblane has had several successful performances at national string competitions in Estonia and Finland as well as at international competitions (Riga\, 1984; Geneva\, 1990; as a competitor A. Leibur). From 2000-2014 T. Kärblane was at the service of Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK)\, teaching accompanying and correpetition. From 2003-2013 she worked as a correpetitor at the Tampere Opera. That job brought her together with a number of Finnish and European distinguished singers\, directors and conductors. T. Kärblane started to teach at opera studio in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in autumn 2013.
